FETTY WAP

ooooo i'll just start with the exciting news because i know that only a slim majority of you will make it past this section of my email lol BUT we have transfers today and i'm leaving kent :(((( i was pretty sad because i've been waiting my whole mission to come here, but honestly i trust that God knows what he's doing and i'm excited to have a fantastic new transfer with plenty of miracles. i'm heading to federal way to finish the training of a new hermanita and open a new area and i'm freaking stoooooked!! we also don't have enough apartments for everyone because we just recieved 60 new missionaries (we already have 150 missionaries right now lol) so guess who's staying in a extended stay hotel??? hahahaha i'm not even kidding. i'll send updates about my free continental breakfast and house keeping next week :)

-okay so this is a cool story. there's this family in our branch that are pretty less active but loooove the missionaries so naturally we've been spending lots of time at their house. their daughter leslie has been making serious strides to come back to church, but just has a hard time getting her husband to come. their son jony has honestly been so far from even talking about church for so long, but something changed this transfer and he really started to open up with hermana hampton and I because of our life experiences and that we aren't the "typical robotic missionaries". he started asking a lot of questions about our testimonies and conversion and we began to see his deep desire to know for himself if the church was true, even though he had the "tough guy" facade on the outside. he asked us to write down our full testimonies and give them to him which just melted my heart... i definitely think this family was one of the reasons i needed to be here in kent this transfer because i didn't know i could get so close to a family in so little time and i have high confidence that they are going to make some serious progress in their conversion from here on out. it's just as amazing when you see the lost sheep come home as well as it is to see the new sheep being added to the flock

-found 2 fantastic people in one night and they both want us to come back!!

-sent off my trainer this morning at 6 am:( oh how I love her... I've learned so much from her example and I'll miss her so freaking much

-learned how to do the ratchet tiktok dance from some random 7 year old girl (i will attach a video below)

-went to the one and only rock shop in kent and my inner hippie was so happy. i definitely gave in and bought a bunch of beautiful rocks and next week i might start working on some dreads

-had our last beautifully fantastic carwash

-became good pals with 3 dudes from peru, uruguay, and mexico through our english class. these classes are the best thing in the entire world

dont have much time because I just spent 6 hours at transfers but I love you all!!!!!!!
