HEYOOO whats uuuuuup??? it's been a grand ol week here in Washington 🤩 not a lot has happened because we are still struggling a little bit to get out and about and talk to people BUT there were still miracles nonetheless

small plates:

-OKAY serious miracle. we went to visit a referral in an apartment complex and on the way out ran into an incredible woman named Dee. it was perfect timing because we didn't even get to the complex at the time we were wanting, but right as we were walking back to our car, this lady driving by us rolls down her window and asks if we're the ladies from the church to which we immediately replied YES! we talked with her for a good while about how she used to meet with the missionaries all the time until she got really busy with work, but she's missed how she feels when they are around. she said she saw us walking, she got the chills and felt she needed to pull over right at that moment. she's a single momma and is going through a really hard time right now because she lost her job due to covid, so when i started sharing how God loves her and is aware of her, it just brought her to the point of tears. we cried all together in that parking lot for a good while and set up a time to come back after she kept saying it was a miracle she saw us. ahhhhhh i freaking love the people we meet.

-watched 17 miracles to celebrate the 24th... i literally can never compain about my live after learning about what those people went through

-found a dude named Shaun from drive through prayers. he's super less active and felt like he needed to pull over and talk with us because he's felt stuck for the past while. he was actually pretty stoked about having us get him in contact with his ward in the area and is hopefully gonna start coming back!!

large plates:

-went to the chiropracter and got crackalacked. the guy is a member and is very chatty so we ended up staying and chatting for like 3 hours even though it took him 30 seconds to readjust my back. lol

-it's been beauuuuutiful up here. like straight 80's every day with beautiful sunshine. we went to the lake last p day and laid on the beach and i would have to say it's now my biggest temptation because everybody was swimming and having a lovely time and it did kill me a lil bit to be hanging out in a dress hahaha but it's okay sacrifice is good

-when we still had an hour left of 17 miracles, hna goodman went to bed so hampton and I cuddled on the couch and sobbed together as we finished the movie and then fell asleep hahahaha the best comp bonding

Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

literally can we just talk about come follow me and how AMAZING it is??? love love love. so inspired. these verses always hit home because i've learned a lot more about having a continual prayer in my heart as of late. sure we can pray morning and night, but have you ever tried to just talk to God while you're driving? or making dinner? or whenever you're just kinda hanging out by yourself? once we start to realize that God is not just our Father, but is also our dad, it changes the whole game. we can talk to Him ALL THE TIME. having a continual prayer in your heart and just talking with Him all the time literally changes you for the better. it definitely helps me to remember who I am and that i need to be more christlike and patient and also gives me the extra comfort throughout the day that i need to keep going. let Him direct your paths for the better :)

LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! please pray that we can start to find some more people to teach because we are fighting hard to get the work rockin and rollin, but heavenly help is always a good thing
